I just wanted to comment on the amazing service I received tonight. Our waitress's name was Hayley, she was incredibly sweet and funny. I would come back based on her alone.
This place is a nice eatery before or after a ballgame. It is alive with a lot of action going on. There are several big screen televisions playing in the dining area and pub. Lots of college students, it's directly across the street from Mercer University. We have dined here twice in the last four days. The food was great the first day, the fries were just out of the oil and cooked crisp just like I like them. The pizza, chicken buffalo sub and double cheese burger were wonderful. You could not get food that tastes better. Service was great too. On second trip we ordered the same food item but added the buffalo rolls. We were not disappointed, except the fries could have been a little hotter. We will definitely return again soon!
Me and my honey headed up to Macon to see the Macon Pops for date night. We were in a small rush after dropping off the kids. We stopped by a Mexican restaurant first and it was too busy so we decided to try Amici. Let me tell you I am so glad the Mexican place was too busy because Amici is a new favorite of mine! We sat at the bar with Montay. He was a great bartender. Quick, efficient... understood the assignment! He got us server quickly and our food arrived so fast and so fresh! He made our drinks and they were literally perfect! Taste and appearance. He served us a dead turtle shot and it was so fun! We had the honey mustard sub. It was fresh and delicious. I would order it as a wrap in the future. We also had boneless wings. I normally love traditional wings but I didn't want the sauce under my nails this night. Ha The sub and fries were AMAZING! The wings were so good, fresh and warm. We had the chili sauce and it was perfect flavor and spice. I can't wait to go back!
I was in my hometown of Macon, Georgia and my daughter wanted some Pizza, I had heard that Amici's was a good place to try. The service was great, the food came out hot, seasoned great, and we didn't have to wait a long time. The ambiance was cool, they are doing a great job of building up the Merced area by the football stadium. Great job Macon
